One Door Closes...
Seven years ago in the very coffee shop in which I now sit, Keith Dudley, Brian Stovall and I drew out the plans for an event marketing agency that would blend technology with product launches, sports, entertainment and tradeshows. GamePlan was born, and the adventure began. The coffee here doesn't taste the same today as it did then, and I'm about to brew a new tasty chapter of experiences.
As of a few days ago, I turned in my keys to the GamePlan office and joined the team at Blue Cover Studios as their Chief Strategy Officer. To say it was one hell of a ride, to know GamePlan set the standard and to admit we could have built it into so much more...I'm saying goodbye today with a heavy heart, while I know I am doing what is best for my family and our future.
I can tell you that GamePlan made the impossible possible, and that I'm blessed to have worked with a business partner such as Keith Dudley. There are too many stories to share here, and I know Keith and I will work together again. More than anything, I thank the team at GamePlan for some of the greatest experiences I'll ever know. You will all always be my friends, and we will ride together again soon: SADDLE UP.
My wide eyes are full of excitment to make great things happen for a new roster of clients with Blue Clover's powerful combination of creative and technology professionals, and much of what you knew from me at GamePlan holds steady on this new course. You know me, it is all about Live + Mobile + Online, and that mad mix of magic stands only to be stronger with the team of which I am now a member.
You may have heard me talk of "innovation and collaboration" being the beacons of guidance we must all embrace to survive and thrive. I have often said that today's advanced media landscape is too unpredictable and moves too fast for anyone to know what tomorrow will bring.
Boy, do I know now how unpreditable this life itself can be.
